Each year our performance statistics are published by Welsh Government. Below is a snapshot of statistics for 22/23.

In 2022/23 we attended 18,704 incidents

Performance Statistics
  • Accidental Fires - 9% or 1,748 incidents
  • Deliberate fires - 23% or 4,283 incidents
  • Road Traffic Collisions - 5%, or 848 incidents
  • Other non-fire incidents - 16% or 3,079 incidents
  • False Alarms - 47% or 8,746 incidents

Our crews made 995 school visits

for educational safety talks to Key Stage 1 to 4

In total we carried out 12,308

479 hoax calls were received . . .

causing 333 unnecessary mobilisations
