Each year our performance statistics are published by Welsh Government. Below is a snapshot of statistics for 23/24.

In 2023/24 we attended 18,988 incidents

Performance Statistics
  • Accidental Fires - 9% or 1,717 incidents
  • Deliberate fires - 20% or 3,735 incidents
  • Road Traffic Collisions - 5%, or 870 incidents
  • Other non-fire incidents - 17% or 3,205 incidents
  • False Alarms - 50% or 9,461 incidents

Our crews made 962 school visits

for educational safety talks to Key Stage 1 to 4

In total we carried out 15,003

586 hoax calls were received . . .

causing 196 unnecessary mobilisations
