Chief’s Challenge

This week we’re asking all #OurHomeHeroes to compose their very own fire service poem, story, song or rap. It could be all about staying safe at home (You can find all our fire safety tips here on our website) or maybe you want to tell is all about your local fire station.

DM us your entries (take a picture if it helps), tag us @SWFireandRescue or send them to us direct at

Your entries will be published online and we will be picking some lucky ones to share, so please be careful only to send in what you are happy for others to see. You can let us know your first name if you’d like but remember to always stay safe online, you shouldn’t give out lots of details.

Children under 13 – please ask a responsible adult to help you.

Our colleagues in North Wales Fire and Rescue Service have also created a number of educational resources and activities for children and young people to learn about fire safety. Take a look here.
