Keep Safe This Winter
Our crews have attended a number of domestic fires in recent weeks and as a result, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service would like to emphasize the importance of following safety advice relating to open fires.
Remember to;
• Be careful when using open fires and log burners. Make sure you always use a fire guard to protect against flying sparks from
hot embers
• Make sure embers are under control and properly put out before you go to bed
• Keep chimneys and flues clean and well maintained
• Don’t store logs or fuel next to open fires and log burners
