Request a visit

We offer you the opportunity to have a FREE Safe and Well visit in your home, carried out by firefighters from your local Fire Station and our Home Safety Team. The visit takes about 30 minutes and we will provide and install free smoke alarms, heat detectors and carbon monoxide alarms where risk is identified. Alarms for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing are also available.

We have to look at each Safe and Well request received to make sure we give you the right service; you may not need a visit, but instead will give you up to date guidance about how to reduce the risk of fires starting in your home and FREE smoke alarms should you require them.
