This September join South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, South Wales Police and the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust as they host their very first 999 Weekend at Cardiff Bay

Celebrating a combined proud history of keeping the people of South Wales safe, this free event coincides with the 50th anniversary celebrations of South Wales Police, and will see a full programme of fun family activity, demonstrations and displays staged at the water side venue on Saturday Sept 21 and Sunday Sept 22.

The weekend will also be a chance for visitors to take part in the second Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation 5k Run/Walk Wales which will take place on the Sunday morning of this special Weekend.

This is a chance to raise money for much deserved charities in memory of New York Firefighter Stephen Siller who made the ultimate sacrifice and gave his life to save others at the Twin Towers on 9/11.

Show your support for all who risk their lives to help on a daily basis and come and run alongside our emergency service personnel, including our firefighters – many of whom will run the route in full kit.

A great family day out, all ages welcome.

Registration fees for the run apply. Visit www.tunnel2towerswales.com to sign up today.
