Firefighters attended a road traffic collision involving two cars. Four casualties were released from the vehicles prior to the arrival of the Fire Crews. Firefighters made the vehicles safe.

Two Firefighters in breathing apparatus, one hose reel, one 45mm safety jet, one thermal imaging camera and one positive pressure ventilation fan were used to deal with the fire. One elderly male received oxygen therapy from Fire Crews and was then dealt with by paramedics.

One male casualty suffering smoke inhalation was dealt with by ambulance service personnel.
