Firefighters attended a fire in the communal area of a two storey block of flats which spread to two of the flats. Two firefighters in breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one positive pressure ventilation fan were used to deal with the blaze. One male casualty was taken to hospital suffering smoke inhalation.
