Road Traffic Collisions (RTC’s) have become more frequent than house fires, and sadly cause more deaths. In 2009, the number of people killed or seriously injured (KSI) on welsh roads was 7126.
It is therefore a major priority for the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service to highlight the dangers that exist for the public travelling on South Wales roads, and raise awareness of the simple measures they can take to ensure they, their passengers and other road users remain safe.
