The unit has a tank capacity of 9000 litres (equivalent to 5 Water Ladders) and is fitted with a 1600 litre per min portable pump and hose reel.  Its primary role is support at multi-pump incidents.

Based on vacuum tank principle, the tank can be filled from open water within 4 minutes.
