Wholetime Duty System 

24 Wholetime Fire Stations, the Intervention Management Team is headed by an Area Manager and is responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the 24 Wholetime Stations in the Service area.

The Intervention Management Team’s prime function is to provide support to Stations in their response to emergency calls, and in the delivery of a range of educational programmes and risk reduction initiatives designed to meet the needs of their local community.

The Area Manager is supported by two Group Manager Bs overseeing Service Development and Service Delivery and three further Group Manager As who act as an initial point of contact for their group of Stations.
