Blood on Your Hands Campaign

Have you got blood on your hands
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service is ‘going public’ to catch out adult hoax callers.

Hoax calls campaignEvery year South Wales Fire and Rescue Service attends nearly 1,000 hoax calls. The shocking fact is that many of these 999 calls are made by adults.

Hoax calls, or ‘False Alarm Malicious’ calls as they are known in the Emergency Services, are a criminal offence and repeat offenders can be fined or even sentenced to prison.

As part of its ‘Blood on your hands’ campaign, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service will be putting actual hoax calls made to the Service onto this website and updating them every couple of weeks.
