Blaina Fire Station will host a car wash on Saturday 14th August to raise money for The Firefighters Charity and Jonathan Foote.  Jonathan is a 14 year old local lad who is suffering from cancer and the Station would like to help raise funds to support him and his family during this time.

Crews from the station are offering to wash cars and vans for anyone who can come along on Saturday 14th August between 9am and 1pm to their High Street base. All money raised will be donated to The Firefighters Charity and to Jonathan and his family.

Firefighters have held a number of successful car washes and would like to run another one to raise funds for a very worthwhile cause whilst keeping the vehicles of Blaina gleaming!

Anyone who comes along will be asked to make a donation to the charity.
