Introducing... Clever Trever!

In February, Bernie – our fire sheep – visited primary schools up and down Rhondda Cynon Taf sharing his #notograssfires message and encouraging pupils to sign up to be grassroots ambassadors.

As part of his roadshow he shared that news that Mrs. Bernie was expecting and we gave the children of RCT the chance to name his new lamb, with the chance to win vouchers towards a new bike. We had hundreds and hundreds of entries over the roadshows, with the winner being chosen at random.

The winning entry was from Charlie who was from Darran Park Primary in Ferndale. Her winning lamb’s name was Trever, who we think is rather clever and is fully behind his dad’s campaign to reduce the number of deliberately set grass fires.
