Treorchy Fire Station serves the main town of Treorchy and several surrounding villages including Cwmparc, Ynyswen, Treherbert, Tynewydd, Blaenrhondda and Blaencwm. The estimated population of the Station area is 21,000 people.

Treorchy Fire Station serves a diverse range of light and heavy industries. Business and residential areas; one large hospital, several nursing/residential homes for the elderly; and a cinema/theatre are all within its area.
