Ebbw Vale Fire Station 

Ebbw Vale Fire Station serves the towns of Ebbw Vale and Cwm. The estimated population of the area is 28,000 people, covering an area of approximately 13 square miles.

Ebbw Vale Fire Station serves a range of industrial, business and residential properties as well as a large retail park on the site of the 1992 Garden Festival, a busy town centre and a number of out-of-town supermarkets.

History

The Station opened in 1974 as a shift Station with a Retained compliment. In the mid eighties it was changed to a Day Crewed status which it currently remains however through our Risk Reduction Plan it has been proposed to revert the Station to the Wholetime shift Duty System once again.
