Kenfig Hill Fire and Rescue Station 

Overview

Kenfig Hill Fire Station serves the Pyle, Kenfig Hill, Cefn Cribbwr, Cornelly, and Kenfig Pool area with a population of approximately 16,000 and covers an area of approximately 10 square miles, plus the surrounding areas of Porthcawl, Bridgend, and Cross border to Mid and West as far as Port-Talbot.

The Fire Station is located off Ffald Road in Pyle and is within a mile of the M4 Motorway which allows quick access at junction 37 Pyle, 36 Sarn and junction 38 Margam. The main railway from Swansea to London runs through the Station area.

Kenfig Hill has a varying range of industries, businesses, leisure centre and residential properties in its area, which are constantly expanding. The village of Cornelly has a new large housing development comprising of approximately 300 properties.
