I am interested in becoming a Wholetime Firefighter but did not apply for this campaign. When will you be recruiting next?
If you are interested in becoming a Wholetime Duty System Firefighter you will need to wait until future processes to apply. It is anticipated that the next process will be run in approximately 18 months. All future Campaigns will be advertised on this website. Alternatively, you may want to follow us on Twitter @SWFRS_Careers where we post frequent updates on all career opportunities within the Service.
I am a candidate within the process and have sat my Ability Tests, when will I receive the results?
Results will be sent via e-mail no later than the 25th of January. These results will be sent via e-mail.
I undertook an Eyesight Test when I was at the testing centre and I was advised to visit my optician for clarification that I meet the eyesight/colour perception standards. What do I need to do next?
