Mae’r dull aml asiantaeth hwn o drin diogelwch wedi bod yn gyfrwng llwyddiannus i’r Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub ers ffurfio’r fenter yn ôl ym 1994. Mae’n cyfuno gwasanaethau niferus sydd â diddordeb mewn diogelwch plant.

Cynhelir Criw Craidd yn y Parth Diogelwch, Trefforest – sef pentref ffug sy’n galluogi i blant ysgol, pobl oedrannus a grwpiau cymunedol eraill ddysgu am sefyllfaoedd peryglus posibl mewn amgylchiadau tebyg i rai go iawn. Mae’r pentref yn cynnwys stryd â siop, gorsaf heddlu a chell, trac rheilffordd, is-orsaf drydan, tafarn, safle adeiladu a thy. Rhed heol, gyda man croesi i gerddwyr sy’n gweithio’n llawn, ar hyd canol y pentref.

The Fire Service “House” consists of two rooms, a kitchen and a bedroom.  The groups first visit the kitchen where they are confronted with several hazards which they have to identify and remedy before proceeding to the bedroom.  In the bedroom they are shown the DVD “The bedroom fire” which is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and produced by the All Wales Education Group.  The issues  raised within the DVD are discussed and the course of the fire is narrated by the presenter.  All aspects of escape from the building is discussed and culminates in escaping through a smoke filled corridor.
